13 challenges for 2013 via Beingisaverb.comAs promised, here’s my list of challenges for 2013.

It’s a mixed bag of activities–some may not seem very “challenging” to you, but that’s okay.  The point is to create a mix of challenges that push my boundaries and challenge the gremlins in my head. Your list (if you make one) will probably look very different… and that’s okay too.

Remember, it’s not a competition! And you don’t have to make a list of 13 challenges either.  I just liked how it sounded (13 for 13, what! what!).

13 for 2013

  1. One month of kickboxing classes – at least 3x per week for 4 weeks
  2. Take a weekend trip with my mom (just me and her, no husbands, no grandkids)
  3. One month of giving
  4. 30 days of inspiring interviews
  5. Teach a workshop at the New Age Bookstore across the street
  6. Actually attend a local meetup
  7. Plan a monthly family adventure
  8. 100 days of conscious eating
  9. 13 craft projects
  10. 10 handmade gifts
  11. Self-publish a personal creative project
  12. Self portrait project
  13. Monthly soul nurturing retreat

If it feels right, and you decide to join in, please leave me a link to your 2013 challenges in the comments below.  I’d love to cheer you on.  :)

xoxo Shauntelle

  2. I just came across your 13 for ’13 challenge. It’s cool. I’m going to jump on board and create my own. I especially like your “30 days of inspiring interviews.” I’m about ready to check out the Max Rubenacker interview.

    Thanks …

Hello Clay and thanks for dropping by! Hope you’ll share a link for your 13 for ’13 (if you post it)… I’d love to cheer you on through the year. Plus accountability is always useful, don’t you think? :)

Let me know what you think about the interview with Max.

      • Well Shauntelle, you’ve put me on the spot, and I have to come through with my 13.

And yes accountability is useful … sometimes painful, but still useful :)
